Terminologies: Continuous Deployment

Continuous deployment is abbreviated as a CD. It is the same as continuous delivery except it has manual approval. It asks for manual validation after its deployment. CD is a process wherein the latest code is deployed to multiple environments automatically. This is done after its deployment validation.

DevOps is unimportant without being confident with the fundamentals terms. We’ve explained the agent, Iaac, and infrastructure earlier. Do check them out. The entire terminology spectra are a must to know. We have explained the git terminologies as well.
Software release has been explored a lot. CD is also a software release process. When it validates a codebase, it’s ready for its deployment into a product set. A cycle of test, deploy, release and approval continue.
